Murshida Carol Weyland Conner, the murshid of Sufism Reoriented since 2001, passed away peacefully in her home in Walnut Creek, California on April 22, 2023 at 2:13 pm. She was 80 years old. She tirelessly dedicated herself in service to Meher Baba, her students, and many in the communities where she lived and travelled.

Before her passing, Murshida Conner named Walker Patterson Lambert to be her successor as the new murshid of Sufism Reoriented.
